EOP’s sculpture wing complements the niche that the company caters to tackling unusual requests and heritage materials.
The Japanese fountain was carved in a marble difficult to match in European sources. The seamless false tail was mixed and fitted using a conservation grade resin and mixed with a palate of marble dust and fillers to achieve the same translucency, colour and grain as the original.
Localised losses to stone and stucco sculpture can be rebuilt using tailored lime mortar mixes to match the qualities of the original work.
Composition and similar mixes can be repaired and replicated as shown here. EOP also has access to the Jackson collection of Regency and Victorian moulds for authentic composition production.
