The first award this year was the 2011 RIBA award to the Artillery Lane project in Spittalfields, now the Ravens Row art gallery with 6a architects. As the conservation contractors we suspended a very distressed ornate ceiling from 1722 and replicated papier mache relief swags lost in a fire in the 1970’s. A very interesting project in one of the remaining Huguenot traders houses with a checkered history since.
